It's also kind of funny because PvP in other MMO's usually consists of "Challenge Player X to a duel?" while in a town. It usually doesn't go beyond more intricate than that. The reason Guild Wars became popular at its release was because it had arguably the best PvP system in any MMO, even if its PvE was pretty weak, which it hasn't evolved much, imo. PvP has always been the primary selling point of the game.

Would you apply vamp mod to your coolest weapon? like when you are waiting for a battle to start on HA/GvG, or come out to an area on pve you won't be wielding a vamp weapon, otherwise, instead of ppl say "wow nice weapon there dude!", they will say: "take your f** vamp off".
Besides I prefer sundering over vamp for any kind of weapon.

I don't think anyone is being too harsh, for daggers vamp is really good in PvE, as is zealous. Seeing how you have to get through the PvE part of the game, not the PvP part, I think it is safe to say that the opinion of these daggers are fine as a PvE perspective. And for the take your vamp off, just bring both zealous and vamp, switch between the 2 when you need, zeal between groups, vamp while fighting, zeal when low energy and fighting. It's that simple.
Lesson of the day:
-Don't use greens in PvP because of the skin.
-Use many weapons with different mods, thats why there are 4 weapon slots.
-Zealous and Vampiric are best for daggers, especially in PvE.

dont worry about mods on weapons, req or anything..
the OP is requesting that anet makes more mods of shiro's daggers, so he can have any mod set he wants on it. keeping the item skin, as its the only daggers in the game currently with that specific skin.
keep in mind. pve is all about looks. he just wants more shiro dagger skins, with mods that he wants. as he probably already has a different set of daggers with the mods he wants, just not the weapon skin...
agreed that vamp and zealous are the best.. im not arguing that fact, neither is the OP.
now please, keep comments constructive, and not lead to a flame-fest.

And why is that so ? because of thus iditic - 1 Degeneration effects those mods give you and when someone goes with vamp afk (ya such idiots are running around in GW, which do this -.-) then those people can die, whiel beign afk, when nobody heals those fools and that is annoying, because it would force the monks to waste energy on them just to keep them alive, while those people are afk, otherwise those idiots would QQ like dumb noobs, why their characters are in a sudden dead, in the time they were afk ...
Imo Anet would have done better, when they would have given the vamp Mods of Weapons from the start on a better Malus, than this -1 of Life Degeneration.
Instead of the Degeneration maybe a character who wields such a weapon receives 10% or more lesser HP from Healing Skills of Monks ect.
Would be a much better malus, than this stupid perma -1 life dereg.
With such an other malus effect, THEN would people also surely say ingame:
"WoW, what a nice weapon you carry there"
and not
"Get your ****ing vamp shit off, while you don't fight!!"

Seems like you didn't get my point Azazel. A vamp weapon is only used when you are fighting, thus no one is likely to see your weapon (unless in observer mode). It's so much more cooler to stand there and contemplate your weapon with others then just swap and use it for a few seconds.
You don't have to teach me how to play this thread is not about it.

they are imo the best looking daggers in the game.
and we are talking about PvE here, not PvP so yeah i would love a pair of zelous shiro's blades.

Sundering are very good for daggers.
I agree with the vampiric mod because assassin usually hit fast (due to doubl attack), therefore they deal more damage per second AND you also get healed a bit.

Pretty sure you see your own weapons when you're fighting. No one else matters. If you buy weapons just so someone can say "NICE WEAPON GUY" then you're doing it wrong, because that means you're playing with people.

I wouldn't apply vamp mod to my Obsidian Edge EVER cuz that would be a waste... would rather use a crappy skin for vampiric mod cuz you will wield it for just a few moments, thats my point.
I dunno thats just my opinion.

Lol, good one.
Admittedly, it's not bad per se, but when compared to Vamp, Sundering is terrible.
For all the people that are like "but pplz yell at me for having vamp on!" then just get a weapon swap for when you're not fighting.

vamp easily out dps sundering, sundering fails and i guess u chose to fail
showing off your weapon isnt really a big deal

1 word....
Mending
....
for serious.
But anyway, while we're at it, we might as well make every unique skinned green moddable. I mean why should I have to have a sundering mod on my urgoz longbow, I use it for barrage so me thinks it should be modded zealous so I don't have to swap to a dif skin that won't get me noticed enough. I wants it the way I likes it.
